First Mass for the People of St. Anne celebrated by Father Leinfelder at the
Old Labor Temple.

Construction
begins on
the new St. Anne Parish Buildings
on N 6th Ave
July 21, 1950
Purchased rectory
at 312 N 4th Ave.
December 21,
1950
Purchased convent
at 503 N 4th Ave.
December 25,
1950
First Mass is said
in the new building (North Hall).

Dedication
September 1951
School opened
under the
direction of the
Sinsinawa
Dominican Sisters.

Dedication of the
new St. Anne Parish Buildings
by Bishop John P.
Treacy.
March 4,1953
The first "Deluxe
Fish Fry" dinner was served.
June 1973
The first annual
St. Anne Polka Fest is held.
February 5,1979
Father Anthony Fischer celebrates
his
"Golden Anniversary". The former North
Hall is
renamed Anthony W. Fischer Hall.
September 1979
New rectory with
conference rooms erected at 710 N. 6th Avenue.
June 1986
$800,000
remodeling and
addition to the Church of St. Anne begins and is completed
October 1986.
October 31, 1986
First Mass is said
in newly remodeled church.
June 1997
Dedication of the
new Elevator, making St. Anne’s totally Handicapped accessible.
